7th February 2009: TV

Will always helps out with projects when he visits.  This time we asked for guidance regarding a flat panel TV.  He helped us pick it out and put it up on the wall.  It's a 42-inch Phillips 1080p LCD that we got at Costco for $700 (floor model).  We also got a fancy wall mount and routed all of the wires behind the wall for a very clean look.  The funny thing is that Em and I don't have cable and gave up our Netflix subscription a few years ago.

Here's our old TV, a 27-inch Sony Wega that took up big part of the corner of room.  Plus, it was at the perfect height for PJ to stand right in front of it.

And here's the new TV.  Note the absence of wires from the TV to components.  Everything runs behind the wall.
