| 22 October 2008: Installation of an Earthquake Shutoff Valve Today Buck from Harry Clark Plumbing came out and installed an earthquake shutoff valve* for $375. Now when the 'big one' hits our house won't burn down, at least from our gas, though perhaps from our neighbors gas. Perhaps I should encourage them to install the valves as well. * California Valve model #300 by Pacific Seismic Products
