Summer Solstice Sleep-0ut, 21 June 2005

To celebrate the summer solstice I convinced Em that we ought to ride our bikes to a nice stop in the Berkeley Hills and spend the night under the stars.  We did, it was nice, and a few of the photos I took are below.

Well, maybe it was a silly idea but you must admit I picked a pretty nice spot.  From our grassy knoll we had unobstructed views of the bay including San Francisco (to the left), the Golden Gate Bridge (to the right), Mt. Tamalpias (out of picture), etc.

And the following morning we were there to see the sun rising from the east...

...but it was cold and foggy so Em was ready to go.  On ride back to the car we saw hundreds of rabbits both on and along the trail.
